Novorossiysk Grain Terminal set an all-time high in grain acceptance

Novorossiysk Grain Terminal (NGT, member of Demetra-Holding) accepted an all-time record grain volume of 755 thousand tons from truck and rail transport facilities in April 2024.

The current grain acceptance volume is 4% higher than the previous record high of 727 thousand tons set in March 2024 and 22% higher than the April 2023 value of 619 thousand tons.

A record high of 2.5 million tons of grain shipped by sea was also set during the first four months of 2024, which is 8% more compared to the same period last year with 2.3 million tons.

Vladislav Zhukov, Managing Director of NGT:

"This result is a follow-up of the successful first quarter, when more than 1.8 million tons of grain were exported from our terminal, and the year 2023 as a whole when transshipment performance reached an all-time high of 6.6 million tons. Such record-breaking results have become possible due to continuous improvements. Not so long ago, the automobile grain acceptance process was improved along with the railway grain acceptance process optimized at the beginning of this year."
