Novorossiysk Grain Terminal (NGT) and Taman Grain Terminal Complex (TGTC) set new grain transshipment records in January-November 2024.
Grain transshipment at Novorossiysk Grain Terminal amounted to 6.6 million tons during the period from January to November 2024, which is an all-time high for the terminal and a 11% increase compared to the same period last year.
In January-November, the terminal also updated the following performance indicators:
- Number of vessels shipped: 143 (+8% compared to January-November 2023);
- Truck acceptance: 106 thousand (+16% from 2023);
- Unloading of railcars: 46 thousand (+2% from 2023).
Grain transshipment at Taman Grain Terminal Complex amounted to a record 5.4 million tons during the first 11 months of 2024, which is 26% or 1.1 million tons more compared to the same period last year.
TGTC also hit highs for the number of loaded vessels and accepted trucks. 130 bulk carriers were shipped (+25% compared to the same period last year) and 173 thousand trucks were unloaded (+14%) during 11 months of 2024.
