Novorossiysk Grain Terminal (NGT, a member of Demetra-Holding) summed up the results of the 2024/2025 agricultural year (from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025) and got ready for the new season.
Based on the results of the past season, NGT is among the top three port operators in export transshipment, along with KSK and NGP terminals. The terminal handled 25% of the total export transshipment volume through ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin.[1]
In 2024/2025, Novorossiysk Grain Terminal transshipped 5.76 mln tons of grain crops for export, with 85,541 motor vehicles processed and 42,283 railcars discharged. Moreover, NGT set an all-time high in transshipment of non-hazardous bulk cargo, including 123,506 tons of vegetable oils, molasses and fatty acids, during the past agricultural year.
Before the start of the new season, the routine maintenance was carried out at the terminal, including cleaning and disinfestation of silos, replacement of belts, buckets and other technological equipment.
Vladislav Zhukov, Managing Director of NGT:
“Novorossiysk Grain Terminal is among the grain export transshipment leaders and is focused on further development. The company is currently in hot phase of implementing a number of investment projects. We are going to commission new silos and a shiploader shortly. We are developing the infrastructure and thinking of business diversification.”
The document on investments in the development of Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, in particular, in the third stage construction, was signed a month earlier during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The investments will exceed RUB 10.8 bln.
