Demetra Trading participated in the Field Days of the Central and Volga Federal Districts

From July to September 2023, Demetra Trading (part of Demetra-Holding) took part in five agricultural exhibitions 'Field Day' in different regions of the country. More than 200 meetings were held at the events, and the total volume of potential agreements for the supply of grain in the current season exceeded 2 million tons.

This year, Demetra Trading's exposition was presented at the regional forums in the Oryol, Ryazan, Saratov and Samara regions, as well as at the All-Russian Field Day in the Republic of Tatarstan.

More than 250 leading Russian agribusiness companies were represented at the event in Kazan along with Demetra Trading. The central event of the business program was a working visit of Dmitry Patrushev, Minister of Agriculture, and Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Andrey Klychkov, Governor of the Oryol region, and Gennady Zyuganov, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, visited the company's tent in the Oryol region. The high-ranking guests discussed opportunities for the implementation of infrastructure projects, such as the construction of grain storage facilities.

Representatives of Demetra Trading presented a new service to the agrarians of Ryazan, Saratov and Samara – seasonal contracts. This service implies a guaranteed sale of any volume of grain at a transparent and favorable price for producers with deliveries according to a prearranged schedule. This season, a total of 7.2 million tons of wheat is expected to be harvested in these regions during the harvesting campaign, and Demetra Trading is ready to contract a significant part of the harvest.

Roman Kron, CEO of Demetra Trading:

'This is the second year we have participated in the Field Days. Last season has already shown the high effectiveness of such events: we saw an increase in purchase volumes and the active customer base, as well as increased recognition of Demetra Trading in the key regions for our company. The results of this year's exhibitions only confirmed this effectiveness due to the significant volumes of both already concluded and potential agreements. This is a unique opportunity for us to meet with business owners, discuss current cooperation and joint plans in detail, get feedback, and also talk about new client services.'
