Demetra-Holding improved the key operating performance indicators by the end of 2024. The most outstanding achievements comprise an increase in transshipment of agricultural cargo at terminals, an increase in shipments from its own elevators, and expansion of rail transportation.
In 2024, transshipment volumes at Novorossiysk Grain Terminal amounted to 7.2 mln tons, and at Taman Grain Terminal Complex (50% ownership interest) amounted to 5.7 mln tons.
The elevator network also showed positive changes. Shipments from Demetra-Holding's own elevators exceeded 1 mln tons for the first time ever and reached 1.18 mln tons, which is up 32% from 2023. Last year, the network was expanded and supplemented with Nash Soyuz entity located in the Oryol region, which improved the Group's logistics.
The total railcar shipments from Demetra-Holding's elevators amounted to 15.3 thousand with a 3.6 thousand increase compared to 11.7 thousand the previous year.
Demetra-Holding transported 65 mln tons of cargo by rail, which is up 6% from 61 mln tons in 2023. There were also 962 thousand railcar shipments carried out in 2024 with a 52 thousand increase from 910 thousand in 2023.
Transportation by road using Smartseeds digital platform reached 3.4 mln tons, which is up 36% from 2.5 mln tons in 2023.
