
Grain is not only the basis of the country's food security, but an important export commodity. Russia holds the status of the world’s major wheat exporter since the 2016/17 season. The gross yield of grain in Russia will amount to approximately 136.2 mln tons in the 2025/26 season, including around 87.7 mln tons of wheat.
While grain was used to be sold mainly through personal liaison, today a growing number of market participants are approaching cutting-edge digital platforms.
