
October 2, 2025, Novorossiysk. Novorossiysk Grain Terminal (NGT, a member of Demetra-Holding) successfully received the first batch of new harvest grain as part of Auto-1500, a large-scale investment project.
The batch of wheat amounted to 10,000 tons, and was supplied by Demetra Trading. The cargo arrived at the port of Novorossiysk by rail. Wheat will be available for shipment to other countries in November this year.
Six silos with a total capacity of 70,000 tons of grain have been built and are being commissioned as part of Auto-1500 project at NGT. The investment project is aimed at expanding transshipment capacity at the seaport of Novorossiysk and increasing grain transshipment volumes by 1.5 mln tons per annum.
In addition to silo facilities, two new truck handling lines with a capacity of 800 tons per hour, a conveyor line with a total capacity of 1,600 tons per hour, and a seven-story repair and amenity building were built at the premises of Novorossiysk Grain Terminal.
