Fedor Dereka, Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of Krasnodar Krai:

‘Today digital technologies are integrated into almost all sectors of the economy, including the agro-industrial complex. In this respect, Krasnodar Krai is considered one of the most advanced in Russia. We have quite a lot of enterprises in our region that have already introduced digital technologies into the production process and appreciated their advantages and benefits. For example, the level of digitalization in crop production has increased by 30% over the last 5 years. About 250 of our farms use digital technologies in crop production on an area of about 1.2 million hectares. In modern conditions, it is important to implement technologies at all stages of production and sales. So Smartseeds digital logistics platform can be one of the tools for farmers.’

Anton Kondratov, Director of Smartseeds:

‘The development of the Russian agro-industrial complex requires the introduction of innovative solutions in the industry. We strive to become an active participant in the digital transformation of agriculture, creating a unique experience in integrating carriers and agricultural enterprises into the modern digital space. The product solutions we offer help farmers to instantly access thousands of trusted freight carriers and arrange transportation of any volume of products. In turn, Smartseeds guarantees freight carriers steady work with reliable customers and timely payments from the platform. We offer support to all market participants and we are responsible for cargo and logistics arrangements to all parties. Today Smartseeds works with the majority of freight carriers in Krasnodar Krai, and the volumes transported through the platform amount to millions of tons.’
