Demetra-Holding LLC, in which VTB Group holds a more than 50% stake, and Smartseeds, an IT company providing grain transportation logistics, announced their strategic partnership.
As part of a partnership agreement with SmartContract LLC (owner of Smartseeds IT platform), the companies agreed on a joint project to develop modern grain transportation formats and digital business activities.
Evgeny Tikhomirov has been appointed the new General Director of Smartseeds IT platform. Previously, Evgeny worked as Director of Operations and Commercial activities at Ozon and was involved in projects to create marketplaces and online commerce platforms in eBay and Yandex.Market.
The partnership with Smartseeds will be an important element in implementing Demetra-Holding's strategy to improve the competitiveness and transparency of the Russian grain market.
