Alexey Bugai has been appointed Director of the Smartseeds Group of Companies (SmartContract LLC and Smart Grains LLC), part of Demetra-Holding.
He will be responsible for the overall management of the group, development and implementation of strategy, scaling and further development of the product line, and shaping new directions for the company's sustainable business growth.

Prior to joining Smartseeds, Alexey Bugai was head of the commercial unit at BIA-Technologies, a business integrator. Under his leadership, the company created a number of innovative IT products in the area of logistics and production planning, which were implemented in major Russian companies.
From 2010 to 2017, he was Deputy General Manager of Business Development at systems integrator CTI, where he was responsible for product development, software development, sales, marketing and partner relations. From 2007 to 2010, he headed Netris, a Russian developer of intelligent solutions for telecom operators and businesses.
Alexey Bugai graduated from NRU MPEI majoring as a CAD Software Engineer, and his total work experience in the IT industry is more than 25 years. He is an expert in the Internet of Things, the building of call centres, unified communications and industrial software development.
