The event for agricultural producers from the Southern Federal District “Demetra Trading's Cultural Code” was held in Krasnaya Polyana (Sochi) during October 3-5, 2024. The event was attended by 150 clients of the company.
The company’s performance in the 2023/2024 agricultural year was summarized during the event. Demetra Trading set a record for grain purchases of 15 million tons during the past agricultural season, which is 30% more than in 2022/2023.
Most of the purchased grain was shipped to ports. Moreover, Demetra Trading started operations on the domestic market in 2023/2024 and supplying grain and oilseed crops to animal feed producers, millers and processing plants.
During the business-related part of the event, the services for making forwards and seasonal contracts were presented to the participants, and the representatives of Demetra Trading partner companies spoke about the global wheat market, digital crop sales services, and road transportation of grain.
