Demetra-Holding took part in the 28th international exhibition for transport and logistics services, warehouse equipment and technologies TransRussia 2024 during 19-21 March. Rusagrotrans, LP Trans, TransLes, Cargo Company, Novorossiysk Grain Terminal and Smartseeds were presented at the exhibition booth under Demetra-Holding umbrella brand.
The company showed its shipping and logistics infrastructure facilities, strengthened business relations, presented its performance in agricultural, forestry and industrial shipping services, as well as announced its going-forward development plans.
Demetra-Holding and Novostal-M metallurgical holding signed the Memorandum of intent for cooperation in freight rail transportation. Cargo Company, a member of Demetra-Holding, and NM Logistic, a subsidiary of Novostal-M, signed a contract for annual transportation of more than 2 mln tons of Novostal-M products using Cargo Company’s rolling stock.
The top officials of Demetra-Holding subsidiaries were involved in case sessions and discussions.
Ruslan Pryanikov, Managing Director of TransLes, spoke about the current forestry market environment and timber shipping prospects at the plenary session “Greater Eurasia: Economic and Transport Integration”.
Anton Kondratov, Director of Smartseeds, discussed digitalization in cargo shipping and 2024 development prospects with attendees of the “Digital logistics platforms: opportunities and challenges” session. The representatives of Smartseeds presented its platform to potential users and participated in a Q&A session.
TransRussia is the largest transport and logistics exhibition in Russia. This year, the event hit its own record for the number of exhibitors and visitors. It was the first time when the number of corporate exhibitors from more than 20 countries reached 580, the number of visitors exceeded 30 000 people, and the exhibition area was more than 40 000 sq. m.
