TGTC is one of the most promising and dynamically developing grain terminals of the Russian Federation on the Black Sea, providing a wide range of grain cargo transshipment services. The terminal is fitted with high-performance equipment used for the first time in Russia, as well as a modern process control system. TGTC carries out storage and transshipment of cereals, legumes and oilseeds in the amount of up to 5.5 mtpa.
The area of the terminal complex within the port is 5.7 hectares. The production facilities allow unloading agricultural products from trucks in a volume of 24,000 tons/day and loading them into ships in a volume of 36,000 tons/day. The terminal is equipped with a system of covered conveyors that allows receiving cargo from motor vehicles all year round, regardless of weather conditions. The motor vehicle grain unloading facility allows unloading both from the right and from the left sides, and it is designed for unloading grain up to 1,200 tons/hour, which is on average 30 trucks/hour. The daily rate for trucks unloading is 400-600 trucks/day.
The terminal has 16 silos and is able to accumulate up to 192,000 tons of cargo at a time. The terminal owns two berths that allow accommodating Panamax and Postpanamax vessels (width — up to 38 m, length — up to 235 m, deadweight — up to 110,000 tons, draft — up to 12.1 m), and providing loading on a vessel with a capacity of up to 1,500 tons/hour.
The terminal has a system of automated quantitative and qualitative accounting of grain and a certified laboratory for determining the grain quality indicators with all the necessary equipment, including automatic cargo samplers that can take samples both from motor vehicles and from conveyors when loading on a vessel.
