Today, within the framework of the Transport of Russia forum, Rosmorport FSUE and New Jetty LLC signed an Agreement on cooperation in the facilities design provided for by the 'Construction of Docks No. 22A and No. 23A of Jetty No. 3A in the port of Novorossiysk' project.
The document was signed by Alexandr Smirnov, CEO of Rosmorport FSUE, and Andrey Anisimov, CEO of New Jetty LLC, in the presence of Oleg Soldatenkov, First Deputy CEO of United Grain Company JSC, Alexey Gribanov, First Deputy CEO of Demetra-Holding LLC, Denis Demenkov, CEO of Novorossiysk Grain Processing Plant PJSC.
New Jetty LLC is a company created by NGPP PJSC (the main asset of the UGC Group), together with NGT LLC (part of Demetra-Holding) for the purpose of implementing the investment project for the construction of a new pier in the port of Novorossiysk.
As part of the project, it is planned to build a new double-side pier at the head of the existing jetty No. 3 in the seaport of Novorossiysk. This project is part of the Seaports of Russia federal project, included in the transport part of the Comprehensive Plan for Modernization and Expansion of Trunk Infrastructure for the period up to 2024.
The result of the construction of the new jetty and the modernization of the export infrastructure should be an increase in the total transshipment capacity of the terminals by more than one and a half times.
