In December 2021, Demetra Trading ranked first among Russian exporters in terms of Russian grain exports. Demetra Trading exported 751,000 tons of grain in December.
This is a new all-time record for monthly export volumes for Demetra Trading. The company exported 4.75 million tons of grain in 2021, which exceeds the 2020 figures by 6%.
Roman Kron, CEO of Demetra Trading:
'We were systematically expanding our sales markets last year. For example, we became the largest grain exporter to Algeria with a share of 67% in the current grain season. In addition, we have done a great job to increase the pool of grain suppliers and strengthen mutually beneficial relations with them.'
