The new cars have all the characteristics to ensure the most efficient operation: increased load capacity - 76.5 tons, and increased cubic capacity (101 m3) allow to increase the car useful load by 7%. The purchase of new rolling stock shall significantly accelerate and increase the level of loading and unloading processes mechanization, and the safety of the transported cargo. Cars with these characteristics are planned to be used when implementing the railway transportation routing program.

According to Alexey Gribanov, President of the RTC Group and First Deputy CEO of Demetra-Holding, the companies intend to actively develop the routing of grain supplies by rail. 'In just a year, the volume of transportation by direct shipping routes in the company increased from 257 thousand tons to 1.1 million tons, which is almost 10% of all export grain shipments in the 2020/21 season. Transformations related to the rolling stock modernization, services digitalization and synergy with the other companies of the holding will be required to maintain the growth rate', he noted.
