Novorossiysk Grain Terminal (NGT, a member of Demetra-Holding) is involved in the financing of repairs of one of the city’s main highways and plans to invest RUB 10 mln in the renovation of Portovaya street.

The funds will be used for asphalt pavement restoration and elimination of defects that impede traffic along one of the city’s main port connecting roads.

Moreover, NGT specialists, together with the city administration, the state traffic safety inspectorate and other stevedoring companies, developed a unique control system that helps to promptly respond to parking rules violations.

The project is particularly relevant as freight traffic along Magistralnaya street was restricted and redirected to Portovaya street since March 1, 2025.

Alexander Gavrikov, deputy head of Novorossiysk hero city municipality:

“The technical condition of Portovaya street is one of the vital issues for the city. We are actively searching for opportunities to improve the quality of pavements and encourage the business community to join us in solving this issue. I believe that as soon as the work is done, city residents will appreciate the comfort and safety of traffic along this important road section.”

Vladislav Zhukov, Managing Director of NGT:

“Modernization of transport infrastructure is our shared priority. As one of the city’s major companies, we not only invest in road repairs, but also search for traffic optimization options. High-quality repairs and effective enforcement of traffic regulations are prerequisites for convenience of all road users. We are ready to further support projects that are essential for the city.”
