Demetra Trading has acquired Nash Soyuz elevator

Demetra Trading (a member of Demetra-Holding) has acquired and become the owner of an elevator complex in Verkhovye village of the Oryol region. 

Nash Soyuz comprises 10 silos for long-term storage with a total capacity of 50 000 tons, 10 operational silos of 450 tons each, drying and cleaning facilities, two lines for accepting grain from trucks and a rail loading hub. The elevator has also its own milling plant with a capacity of 150 tons per day.

The elevator’s total daily acceptance capacity is 4 000 tons, and shipment capacity is 1 500 tons.

In the future, Demetra Trading plans to modernize the railway infrastructure to increase the rail shipment capacity and dispatch block trains.
